Camera-ready Instructions

Paper format
  • Format your camera-ready manuscript according to the IEEE requirements found here (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) (for Latex, use conference option);
  • Papers should include a title, full list of authors along with their organization and email address, and an abstract of fewer than 200 words;
  • Papers must be in PDF format and of no more than 10 pages. Pages should NOT be numbered;
  • Up to two additional pages can be purchased through the conference registration page (link coming soon);
  • Papers must be compatible with IEEE Xplore. Authors MUST use the IEEE PDF eXpress website (http://www.pdf-express.org/) to convert their manuscripts to compliant PDF files or check if their manuscripts are compliant with IEEE Xplore BEFORE uploading. To create a new account use conference ID: icnp2013x
  • The appropriate copyright clearance code notice must appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the IEEE Intellectual Property Rights. For papers in which all authors are employed by the US Government, the copyright notice is: "US Government work not protected by US copyright". For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: "978-1-4799-1270-4/13/$31.00 ©2013 Crown". For all other papers the copyright notice is: "978-1-4799-1270-4/13/$31.00 ©2013 IEEE".

    The copyright notice must be inserted manually. In the MS Word template there is a text box at the bottom of the first column (for identifying sponsors) that can be used. When using latex, insert

    \IEEEpubid{\hspace{-\columnwidth}978-1-4799-1270-4/13/\$31.00 \copyright2013 IEEE}

    (with appropriate copyright notice) right after \documentclass.

  • Papers that do not adhere to the format requirements or overlength papers without payment will not be published.
Page limits
  • Main conference papers: 10 pages (with possibility to extend for up to 2 additional page with extra charge)
  • Workshop papers: 6 pages (hard limit)
  • PhD forum papers: 3 pages (hard limit)
  • Demo: 2 pages (hard limit)
  • Poster: 2 pages (hard limit)
Paper submission
Copyright form
  • Please complete and submit the IEEE eCopyright Form for your paper before the camera ready paper submission deadline. You can reach the IEEE eCopyright Form from the EDAS system. Just look for the link for your ICNP paper under your "My Papers" tab in the system and follow the directions (available soon). Papers without a completed copyright form will not be published.
Registration
  • At least one author of an accepted paper must be registered at a FULL (non-student) conference rate by camera ready paper submission deadline. Papers without an author registration by this date will be dropped from the final program. Please register on-line through the conference registration page.
